April 10 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Children of Incarcerated Parents is open to children ages 7-9 who have experienced a parent’s incarceration, those with currently incarcerated parents, or those visiting caregivers in prison.
The primary objectives will revolve around fostering a sense of understanding about incarceration, ensuring that children don’t feel isolated in their experiences, and providing a platform to process and express their emotions. The group operates from a trauma-based perspective, emphasizing the importance of addressing the unique challenges and emotional needs that arise in such situations.
The group will meet every Wednesday, March 20th – May 8th, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm at The Village Family Service Center, 815 37th Ave. S., Moorhead.
Clients may utilize insurance, choose self-pay, or inquire about possible grant options.
