The Bright Side with Jeremy & Elaina

About Jeremy: Hey, I’m Jeremy! I was born in Germany where we were stationed for my Dad’s military career. We spent a couple of years in Montana and finally ended up in Iowa. My wife and I felt like Fargo was the perfect place for our family, so we moved here and are glad to be North Dakotans! I am married to my wife Kristie, and we have five offspring. Our house is busy, a little chaotic, but full of love. We love to have family worship nights where everyone gets a chance to sing a song on the mic—family worship has really been a thing that centers our family over the last 10 years. My free time is spent running children around from different sports and after school events, but I have a passion for music and photography. I’m always looking for adventure and a place to take that perfect shot. It’s one of the ways that God spoke to me and captured my attention. Looking at God’s creation all around us and being able to freeze a little bit of His artwork is one of the things that makes everything melt away. I love hiking and being able to hear creation echoing His perfect design. I’m thankful for radio because I get to help others realize how much God cares for them and how absolutely special that gift truly is. That is my goal as a Christian storyteller: for everyone to know that they are purposely, lovingly, and fiercely made by the creator of the Universe.   About Elaina: It’s me, Elaina! Way back in the late 90s, deep in a valley on a small farm in Wisconsin… is where it all began. That is… that’s where Elaina (that’s me) began the first 10 years of her life.  I moved to Fargo and lived life as a homeschooled kiddo until my junior year of high school, when I graduated as the first class of Sheyenne High School in West Fargo. I didn’t plan on being in radio, but God had other plans! Life has been a wild story, but somehow this is where God has placed me. I am so grateful to be here at Life 97.9 telling stories, crying, laughing, and connecting with people! This is if you want to know more about me: It’s more of a fair warning than a bio… so here is the rapid-fire guide to Elaina: I’m a rechargeable introvert. I LOVE coffee, but I’ll never turn down a tea. I’m super competitive, but I lack general ability. I hide in my garage and redo/fix-up furniture for fun. I love to laugh and have a blast with friends, and I also love talking about the deep stuff. I talk a lot… but I’m a listener, so I love getting to hear your story! Finally, I know I’m here for one big reason—to live my life glorifying God and to bring people with me. Come with me!
