Oh Death Mercy Me
“Walker Hayes sent this song to me and I fell in love with it. This is a letter to death itself saying we are not afraid of you, this is not the end. It became a big deal for me because my father-in-law passed away a few weeks later after hearing the song. It seemed perfect! The idea of an upbeat song with this subject matter was a big deal to me because it represents who my father-in-law was. This was the guy who went and got his suit pressed for the funeral a few weeks before he died, knowing that his death was coming. I know this is the type of song he would be dancing to in Heaven. It was perfect timing for me, and I hope this song means a lot to you as it does to us.” ~Bart

Abide by Aaron Williams has been on repeat for me. This song is straight out of John 15 when Jesus shares with his disciples, “You cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For a part from me, you can do nothing.” Many times, I can take the daily blessings the Lord gives for granted. I can feel like I’ve accomplished them in my own strength. The world tells me that I can make my own way, I have to perform in order to achieve, and if I only work harder and strive more, I can achieve anything. This song is a great reminder that all things come from and are tied to Jesus. The reality is that Jesus is telling me I don’t have to do any of those things. That I can just abide in him. He is asking me to remain faithful to him and trust him, and he will provide. ~Jarrett

God Did It Micah Tyler

“God loves it when we remember His promises. The Bible is full of examples of God putting things in place to bring our minds and hearts back to the things He has done. Whether it’s a rainbow to remind us of His promises, a communion meal to help us reflect on His sacrifice, or an altar being build to submit God’s victory after a battle. There are so many opportunities in scripture for us to do this in remembrance of Him. My new Song God Did IT is my alter song, it’s a benchmark that I pray that no matter what you are walking through today, we are reminded that He puts the breath in our lungs. He calls us His children. He raised us from the grave, and He alone deserves all the glory, the honor, and the praise! There is only One who calls us to take heart because He has overcome this world; it’s God. God did it!” ~Micah
a lil’ Church TobyMac

“For so many of us, church has different connotations. We have different things that flood into our minds when we think about the church. Some people feel church hurt and some feel like church is an amazing place to go and commune with people. For me, at first, when I was young, the church was a place where I was a little scared of. I thought I was going to get in trouble. And then church grew into something that I absolutely love! I think church is the place you go to be with community. To go to be with family, people you know that love you, to worship a God that is good. To me there is the church, the physical building, but this song is more about the family that makes up the church. The hands and feet of Jesus where ever you go. The song talks about how it’s not about the steeple, the parking lot, or the hard pews. it’s about the hands and feet of Jesus. It’s about the people, your community, your family, a place where you can get real, a place you can feel loved. a lil’ Church is a song about that spot. The place we run to when we are overwhelmed, the place we run to even when life is good. It’s a place that reminds us that we are loved and we have community. I could use a lil’ church right now!” ~TobyMac
Unashamed Matthew West

“Recently I did a Bible study on the life of Daniel. I was so inspired by his response to the decree that anyone who prayed to any god other than the king would be thrown in the lions den. Scripture says he went to his upstairs room with the windows open towards Jerusalem , got down on his knees and prayed anyway! That is unashamed faith and that’s how I ant to live my life! How about you? I wrote this song as a reminder that someday we are going to be standing before the Lord and I know we want to hear Him say, “Well done!” I want to be like Daniel. I want to stand up for Jesus in this life, until He calls me home and I stand before Jesus in eternity. My prayer is that Unashamed will be a rallying cry for the believers to live out these words that Paul wrote in Romans 1, “I’m not ashamed of the Gospel…” Live your life unashamed!” ~ Matthew
Jesus Loves Zach Williams

“I was a runaway prodigal that Jesus looked at and said the table is set, come on over, have a seat. I sat down at the table and I never looked back. I wanted the heart behind this song to be a simple reminder of the unconditional love that Jesus has for each and everyone of us. The song is for everybody, yet more importantly it’s for those that have felt unaccepted, or feel that feel like they don’t belong. For those you’ve struggled with fear and shame of past mistakes. My prayer is that you can find hope in knowing that no matter what you’ve done in your life, no matter where you are, you don’t have to be enough to be someone Jesus loves. The cross was already proof that you’re already someone Jesus loves!” ~Zach
You Never Gave Up On Me The Afters

“This song really is the story of the prodigal in all of us. We have all had times where we messed up and made mistakes or we have run from God and feel like we will never be enough, but no matter how many times we’ve been in that place God never gives up on us. Even when we give up on ourselves, God’s arms are always stretched wide. He’s always welcoming us back home and we hope this song reminds you that you’re always loved and wanted by God and He will never give up on you.” ~ Josh

“The truth is fear has been holding us down for a long time, many of us for most of our lives. I believe it’s at the crux of the brokenness of our world. But I also believe that our hope is in Jesus and He helps us to not escape and go around fear. He helps us move through it. My prayer is that fear is not over your family, it’s not over your future, it’s not over your life! Why? Because God is over your life!” ~Jon
Better Days Ryan Ellis

“What inspired Better Days was I woke up one day with these lyrics on my mind and felt inspired. “God called about my pride, I think I missed the message I swear I try my best but it’s so hard not living reckless.” I feel this encapsulates my relationship with God and with people. The song evolved from there. We took this confession and brought hope into it by countering it with gratitude and affirmations. This is the reality of who I am. I face demons every day, yet I have found words to fight back. I hope it helps others fight back too.” ~Ryan
Praise God For That Jordan Feliz

“This song is all about how much gratitude and acknowledging the blessings that God has given us, no matter how small or large, can change the perspective of your mentality every day. Sharing in that together as believers shows the world that Jesus changes everything. So let’s praise God for that!” ~Jordan
