Hey, it’s Jeremy from the Bright Side with Jeremy and Elaina. One of the songs I’m really loving right now is Rend Collective’s “Fight of My Life.” It specifically speaks to me because I have battled anxiety attacks, and it’s a great reminder that God is with me and that He gives me tools and people to help me have victory over the enemy. It’s a great reminder that when you are in the fight of your life, Jesus is right there, present and with you in every moment. ~Jeremy

“My heart never broke sober before and I had just gotten out of a relationship. I wanted to go back to the old ways. I wanted to go back to the places I used to go for comfort, the things that I used to do for comfort, but after everything Jesus has done for me I couldn’t go back. I found myself in a song writing room a couple days later and I swore I wasn’t going to talk about it, I wasn’t ready to talk about it. But within a few moments of being there it all came out. And what we realized was I had no where to turn but to Jesus.” ~Ben
Mighty Name of Jesus Hope Darst

“I’m so excited for you to hear my new song Mighty Name of Jesus! I hope this song really encourages you, especially if you’re fighting with fear or worry, or you feel like you just can’t see a way out, or the enemy is coming against you. This song is a prayer for you to sing over your life, over your heart, over your mind and remind yourself that everything you need is in the mighty name of Jesus.” ~ Hope
Thank You Isn’t Enough Tasha Layton

“1 John 3 we read, “See what great love The Father has lavished on us. That we should be called children of God.” And that is who we are! I don’t know about you, but I’m not who I used to be, and that’s thanks to the grace of God! He has lavished His love on me and I feel freer than I evet thought I could feel. I want to write songs that capture the joy I have in my life now that I didn’t have before. I believe with all my heart that if God can do such a crazy powerful work in my life, that He can do it for you too.” ~ Tasha
Living God John Allan

“It centers on the themes of worship and wonder. The course is an opportunity for all believers to declare that there is one Living God and His name is Jesus. Living God, there is no other beside you. Living God, there is no other I bow to. The wonder section lives in the verses stating “I want to touch the robe that heals the sick. I want the voice that speaks deliverance. I want to rest my head on Jesus’s chest.” As a child of God I never want to stop reaching to the sea splitting God!” ~John
Get Behind Me Emerson Day

“I wrote this song to remind myself of the power and authority we have in Jesus Christ. I felt under attack and felt things like anxiety and worry, and fear. I know those things are not from my heavenly Father; those can only come from the enemy. If you feel under attack, if you feel like the ground has been lost, this is the moment to take it back! We have power and authority through Jesus Christ, the blood that saved us. He has the final victory and the final say. The Bible says, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper,” and I believe it! I hope you will praise today and allow this to be your fight song.” ~Emerson
What An Awesome God Phil Wickham

“I want to remind you today that our God is an awesome God! He fills oceans and forms mountains. He speaks and stars burst into light. He commands the armies of Heaven. He is so huge and transcendent and eternal and yet He knows you and loves you! He wants you so badly to be a part of His family that He sent His Son on a rescue mission and to save you. He is not just awesome and powerful majesty, He is awesome in love. May we turn and worship Him in response for all that He has done, all that He is, and all that He has promised. Our God is an awesome God!” ~ Phil
I Know a Name Elevation Worship

“I love how this song begins in verse one with us confessing there is only one name powerful enough to empty out a grave. Only one name strong enough to save. And then when we sing “I call you Jesus” we aren’t just singing about a man who lived 2000 years ago, we are declaring that Jesus is our only hope. He is our redeemer, He is our Risen Lord, the one who sacrificed Himself so we could experience the fullness of life. So come on! Let’s worship together as we listen and give Jesus the honor and glory He is worthy of.” ~ Chris Brown
Fight Of My Life Rend Collective

“For me the fight I went through over the last several years, despite being in one of the joyful bands in the world, is a struggle with mental health. I’ve struggled with depression on and off for years. One of the things I’ve realized in the middle of my fight, was that God was there too. There were even moments of joy even in the middle of depression because God was in it with me. I went to see a therapist and that was amazing, but God plus therapy is the best combination for treating it, I think. I just want to let anyone know who is going through a struggle like that, or is in the fight of their life that there is light at the end of tunnel. There is always someone out there to help you, and God is with you in the middle of it.” ~Chris Llewellyn
