No Survivors Jeremy Camp
“The story behind this song is fun! The record, I thought, was written and done with plenty of songs, but something felt missing. I thought through the theme of this record which was about surrender and to truly go deeper with Jesus you truly have to surrender all. For me, I think of surrender as not just raising a white flag but actually going Okay, I’m going to take an action here and lay things down at the feet of Jesus. This whole theme of going, my ego, my pride, my grip on my life being thrown into the fire – this action of saying I want to get rid of it completely and leave no survivors. It was a song that completed the album in a such a beautiful way, because it’s the cry of my heart. God, I want to completely surrender everything to you, and if that means throwing those things in the fire and leaving no survivors then that’s what I’m going to do.” ~Jeremy
Left It In The River Jamie MacDonald
“This song is about when I was baptized as a new believer. My best friend and I decided it was time to make a public declaration of our faith. The two of us went out with a pastor out to a big pond and both of us got baptized on the same day. It was truly one of my most life changing experiences, and I’ll never forget the way I felt coming out of the water. I was truly changed forever, and that’s why I wrote this song.” ~Jamie

My favorite song at the moment is What an Awesome God, by Phil Wickham. It’s kind of funny because I was prepared to not like this song at all. I was standing by the original, thinking, don’t mess with a classic, but WOW, what Phil has done with that song and how he’s taken it and changed it, but left the essence of what it is. It’s just incredible! I think he’s done a good job. Rich Mullins would approve. ~Jill

The Lord Will Provide Passion

“We hope that as you listen to The Lord Will Provide you will be encouraged by the truth in this song. The lyrics come from Matthew 6, where Jesus says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and it’s righteousness, and all of these other things will be added to it as well.” If He cares for the flowers of the field or the birds of the air, how much more does our Heavenly Father care for you? Our Father sees you, He loves you, and He has everything you need.” ~Landon

“This song came from a place of realizing that we don’t have to have it all together to come to God. In fact, He wants us to come to Him just as we are. With our doubts, our pain, and even with things we try to hide. One verse that really speaks to this is Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” My hope and prayer is that when you hear this song, you are reminded that God is with you, right where you are and He loves you in the middle of your mess.” ~Leanna

Won’t Start Now Seph Schlueter

“This song was written for anyone who needs some encouragement. Anyone who is going through a difficultly, a trial, a struggle and just needs a reminder of God’s faithfulness. I love in the Psalms where David says, “I was young and now I’m old, but never once in all that time have I ever seen the righteous forsaken.” It’s such a good reminder that we have a God who takes care of us. In the big things and the small things, in every single detail. He is faithful, He is consistent, He shows up, He never abandons us! I pray that this song will be a reminder to you, of a God who is for us, a God who has never let us down and won’t start now.” ~Seph
God Story Anne Wilson

“I wrote this song after thinking about all the things that have taken place in my life over the last several years. When I was 15 years old, my older brother Jacob passed away in a car accident. He was my best friend, my big brother and ever since then, me and my family have endured some of the darkest days. When this song says “I’ve gone where the hopeless go, the dead end of a broken road, and I’ve learned there’s a place so low that you can’t see a way out.” That’s what I’m talking about, but over the last few years God has done so many incredible things in my life! Now I get to travel the country sharing the Gospel getting to stand on stages and getting to share my testimony of what He has done in my life. When I look at my life, all I can say is that it’s a God story, and it’s a miracle that I’m still standing here today. I hope when you hear this song it’s a reminder that your life is a God story.” ~Anne
Can’t Steal My Joy Josiah Queen feat. Brandon Lake

“Nehemiah 8:10 says “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” There have been so many times in my life that the enemy has tried to come and rob me of my joy. This song has served as such a great reminder to me that what the enemy couldn’t give to me he also can’t take away. This song has given me so much joy and has become my anthem song for this year. I hope you enjoy it!” ~Josiah
Flowers Samantha Ebert feat. Seph Schlueter

“About 5 months after a life changing diagnosis, I found myself in the pit of a valley asking God, “Why?” Through encouraging words from my family and seeing the get well flowers on my nightstand table, God reminded my heart that beautiful things can grow in the darkest of places. I wrote this song start to finish in two hours as God reminded me that even in uncertainty and hardship, we can trust that He is working out all things for our good. I hope this song reminds you that not even an ounce of your pain is ever wasted and God can bring beauty out of every hardship we walk through.” ~Samantha
