World on Fire for King + Country

“Luke and I were at Oxford University last year when we looked down on the pavement and there was an edged out piece of cobblestone in the shape of a cross. We came to find out through a plaque that three men were martyred in that location for their faith a couple years prior. As they were burning, literally at the stake, one turned and said “Play the man mater Ridley today, for today we have lit a fire that the world will be able to put out.” I don’t know about you, but it does feel in many ways like the world can be on fire for a load of wrong reasons these days. But what if, there was an opportunity to flip that phrase on its head? What if my world could be on fire for something, someone greater than ourselves? That we could burn for God, burn for goodness, burn for kindness, and the world would look around and see our flame and want to emulate it.” ~Taylor

I Believe You Megan Woods

“Recently I walked through a season where I’d lost hope and things looked impossible. I got to a moment where I was having trouble believing that I’d make it through. Then I was reminded of the Bible verse Isaiah 40:31 which says “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” God promises to do the hard part if we simply remember to rely on Him for strength. God is fighting for me, and He is fighting for you too! Let’s tell Him I Believe You!” ~Megan

The song I can’t wait to hear is Left It in the River by Jamie McDonald. When this song comes on I’m literally jumping and waving my arms in what looks like a frantic praise! I love that it shouts about our guilt and shame and sin being gone! My life is changed! I left my guilt and shame in the river! The best part is… A river isn’t still; it runs, and whatever you’re dropping in that river is washed away, long-gone! Now every time I see a river it makes me smile and reminds me of what God has done, all the ick is done, gone, and washed away, “I left it in the river”! ~Elaina

Thank The Lord Patrick Mayberry

“This song is a celebration. It’s about pausing to recognize just how good God has been. James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father.” When I look at my life, my family, my friends, even just the breath in my lungs, I see them as gifts from God. This song came from that place of joy and gratitude. I hope it helps you do the same! To simply stop and thank the Lord.” ~Patrick

Heaven On My Mind TobyMac

“I’ve been discovering lately that grief and loss is a journey. It’s a journey I’ve never really been on before. The first few years, you’re looking back and holding onto the memories in an attempt to continue to love the person you lost. But I’ve learned and experienced that as time rolls on as a believer, you kind of begin to look forward. When you turn your gaze to the future, this hope rises up. Hope that you couldn’t imagine before, you wanted to, yet this new dimension of hope that gets birthed in your soul. Because this hope is not only the hope that Christ Jesus to save us, but also the hope in Him to reunite us with the loved ones that we have lost. I knew about Heaven, and it would cross my mind, but now it lives there. I love my life on this earth, I love my family, my friends, making music, seeing you on the road, and I love walking the golf course at sunset! I see all the beauty around me here, but lately I’ve tried to set my mind on things above. I made a little room for Heaven in my mind.” ~TobyMac

Finished Caleb & John

“The heart behind this song is from Philippians 1:6 it says, “I’m sure of this, that He who started the good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” What a powerful reminder that God is not finished! We are trusting God that He will always finish your story – if it’s not good, it’s not finished!” ~Caleb & John

Have Your Way Katy Nichole

“Sometimes in my life I try to control things. Even if I give something to God, I only give it half way because I’m so afraid that things won’t happened the way I planned or how I expected. What I’ve started to realize, is when I give things fully to God, they go better than anything I could have ever imagined! This is my prayer for you, and it’s my prayer in this season of my life: Lord, have your way!” ~Katy

Testimony Terrian

“This song is about something we all have in common as followers of Jesus, and that is that we are all living, breathing, walking testimonies! This is all because of what The Lord has done. Each of us can look at our lives and say “It is a miracle I am where I am today, and I see the hand of God over my life – even in the darkest moments!” We get to proclaim this with such joy. I hope this song encourages your heart as it has been encouraging mine! God bless you!” ~Terrian

The Way Jon Reddick

“It’s for the saint, the sinner, it’s for the world today. With us having so many choices in life, so many things we can choose, so many paths we can take, we come to realize that our only hope is in Jesus. Jesus is our only hope! We want to spread that, in the church, in the street, and everywhere! Jesus is the way, the truth, the life.” ~Jon

No Survivors Jeremy Camp

“The story behind this song is fun! The record, I thought, was written and done with plenty of songs, but something felt missing. I thought through the theme of this record which was about surrender and to truly go deeper with Jesus you truly have to surrender all. For me, I think of surrender as not just raising a white flag but actually going Okay, I’m going to take an action here and lay things down at the feet of Jesus. This whole theme of going, my ego, my pride, my grip on my life being thrown into the fire – this action of saying I want to get rid of it completely and leave no survivors. It was a song that completed the album in a such a beautiful way, because it’s the cry of my heart. God, I want to completely surrender everything to you, and if that means throwing those things in the fire and leaving no survivors then that’s what I’m going to do.” ~Jeremy

Left It In The River Jamie MacDonald

“This song is about when I was baptized as a new believer. My best friend and I decided it was time to make a public declaration of our faith. The two of us went out with a pastor out to a big pond and both of us got baptized on the same day. It was truly one of my most life changing experiences, and I’ll never forget the way I felt coming out of the water. I was truly changed forever, and that’s why I wrote this song.” ~Jamie
